Indiana Competes responds to tonight’s election November 8, 2016
INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Competes released the following statement regarding tonight’s election results:
“Indiana Competes would like to congratulate all those who were elected to serve our great state, including Governor-elect Eric Holcomb. Over the last two years, Indiana’s welcoming image has suffered from state actions surrounding LGBT rights, especially with the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). This has cost the state millions of dollars in economic investments as well as thousands of jobs.  We look forward to working with Governor-elect Holcomb and renewing our efforts to repair Indiana’s economy by protecting LGBT Hoosiers from discrimination.”
